Park yourselves at Gooseberry, it’s close to a nice sheltered (shaded) area with a lot of picnic tables to spread out the Popeyes and get down to business. Walk it off after with a trek toward Lindenwood in Fargo

First-time visitor to the US, starting in Minnesota...
Ello everyone! My best friend and I (both never been to 🇺🇸 before) are planning a 20-day trip to the United States, arriving in 10 days from Australia where we've just wrapped up an incredible summer. We're super excited to explore Minnesota and make the most of our time here.…
Minnesota map help needed! I draw fantasy maps (like the ones you’d see in Lord of the Rings) of the states. Minnesota is up soon, and I would love to know what real MN folks want to see on a map - what are the places and things I need to know? Thanks in advance! (This is my WI map as an example)
Split Rock Lighthouse would fit the vibe of a fantasy map. So would Gooseberry Falls! You could also do: The Minnesota State Fair grounds The Jolly Green Giant Statue The St John’s Abbey Belltower Lake Pepin/Lake City Canterbury Park

The large playground and open green spaces are highlights for families and dog walkers. "Great place to visit and hang out. We stopped here for out of town to take our dog for a walk. It was quite busy here during the time we went, but we had the paved path mostly to ourselves. The bridge was cool, but unfortunately it's not usable. Overall, we really enjoyed it here and would come again."

"The park was nice. It had an extra large grassy area to play games or have picnics. The playground was okay. Lots of variety and the primary play structure was sturdy/safe. Some of the toys were 90s esc but in a fun way not a dangerous way unfortunately there was a lot of graffiti and inappropriate drawings. The open space areas were really nice though. Private nooks for fairy houses, large trees for shade ect.....Also had a large covered pavilion for picnic gatherings and what not. Amd a second lower Pavillion that was even larger also covered and had multiple grills to use."
