"A quiet little town that is a must to visit! Good hiking trails, visitor info center and gift shop. Found some unique items and at a reasonable price. Great views from the Marina and the trails."

"Stopped to purchase a boat permit at 7:45 am, be prepared to wait as counter is very slow and there will be a line. Was able to buy my Wyoming aquatic permit online at Wyoming game. Next to Moran station to have kayak inspected. Only one attendant working permit windows but is pleasant and obviously answers lots of questions."

"We went to Colter Bay after being unable to find parking at Jenny lake, Strong/Leigh lake. And you know what, it was a blessing !!! Great views of the Tetons over Jackson Lake !! Great hiking trails and you can rent kayaks right at the marina. Next time we come back, that's what we are doing. Forget the thousands of people clogging the trails at Jenny lake. Go to Colter Bay !!"
