"This is an amazing place come and either walk the waterfront walkway or come sit and eat you food under sheltered picnic tables or sit in the covered porch swings and watch the porpoises roll up put of the water and swim by so majestically. This is an ABSOLUTELY beautiful peaceful place to come.

"It's laughable now. For decades, it had great seafood restaurants that are now being replaced with wannabe nightclubs. When men worked the boats and the waterfront you'd have what Morehead City was founded upon. Once a year, you get a crowd for the big rock tournament. That's really the highlight these days. Morehead City itself hasn't changed much. Sad to watch it lose nostalgia. Easy to skip and go elsewhere also."
