What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Morgan Falls for its natural beauty and accessibility, with the Georgia park being a hit for families and the Wisconsin/UP locations for hikers. Some find the trail descriptions or parking less than ideal, and weather can impact access to the more natural falls.
"Easy walk on the trail for most ability levels. At the time of this writing, the parking directly outside the trail was blocked off. We parked across from Sugarloaf and walked up the hill on the shoulder of the road. If you are camping at Rippling River, just take the path from there.
The trail is a well maintained, mostly shaded 1.25 walk to the falls. You will begin to hear the water as you get closer. Look for a deviation from the path that goes to the left. There will be a sign and some stairs going down. Once you get to the bottom of the stairs, you will cross a wooden bridge. If you are feeling adventurous, take the path down to the base of the waterfall.
A lot of people take off their shoes and enjoy a break. There was a picnic table to sit at when we were there. Also, be aware a lot of bikes are on the trail and the mountain bike paths."

"Really nice hike, but the Google pin is not accurate. If you follow the Morgan fall loop it should bring you right to the falls. But if you stay on the marquette mt rd the falls are where you see the stairs and sign that says unnamed Morgan falls. But the falls are really nice to see and they even have a picnic table set up in front of the falls."

"I would recommend taking carpe eh diem trail from the NTN South Trails Trailhead to get to Morgan Falls and then taking Marquette Mountain Rd back! It was a moderate hike I would say due to elevation gain but just added a little more nature to the walk which is always appreciated!"
