"This is a unique museum in the heart of the old part of Morristown. You feel as though you are stepping back in time. The staff are knowledgeable and patient and they gave us a careful tour even though my wife and I were the only two people there on a chilly day. The back garden is beautiful in the late winter and free of charge to walk through."

"Amazing historical house museum with many interesting artifacts showing the stories of the generations of people who lived there. The curator was very knowledgeable and friendly throughout the tour; no matter what questions we asked he always had an answer. The Thomas Nast collection on display was wonderful. Do be aware that they rotate the smaller drawings on display, since they do not have room to display all of the collection all the time, but it is still very interesting. There are other art pieces and artifacts in the Macculloch part of the museum that are connected to the Maccullochs themselves, including historical furniture and various decorative objects and utensils. The museum gives guided tours and has touchable artifacts and textured art for the visually impaired or for anyone who wants to touch a piece of history. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and a very restful place to explore."
