"I had my daughter's 12th birthday at the mennen arena and it was awesome and a hit to the other kids as well. Here are a few helpful tips if you are planning a party at the mennen ice skating arena in Morristown. You can pull up in the front of the building to unload your party supplies. I showed up about 15 minutes early to set up. They have two party rooms, the Lake Placid Room (the larger room, no windows) which is the room we had and the Salt Lake City room is a little smaller but it has windows and a door looking into Rink 3. Parties are for 2.5 hours and include skating for 22 guests any extra skaters are additional $9. The rooms have about 8 tables with plenty of chairs. I had 4 tables lined up for the kids and another two lined up for the parents. The other 2 tables I used for the food. You provide the food drinks and decorations (table clothes plates etc.) they also have a concession stand at the arena across from the party room. I ordered pizza and spudnuts from Virilli's pizza in Morristown and they delivered to the party room. I also added on the skating lesson with coach Linda and she was fabulous! The kids all learned so much from her. There was a large garbage can and large recycling can with bags in the room. There was a very slight smell in the room so if you are sensitive I would recommend bringing an air freshener. Also FYI they do not have walkers at the mennen arena. They used to have them but stopped due to kids rough housing and caused a coach to break her arm. They will let you use a traffic cone to get your balance. If I can think of anything else I will add it later but I just wanted to share the info I have so far."

"County College of Morris holds their annual commencement ceremony there and it's great! The sound is good, the video screens add a lot, and the event is run smoothly. They also have two additional hockey rinks for lessons, figure skating, and hockey! The pro shop is open all day. There's plenty of parking."
