What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Morro Bay Marina for its abundant wildlife, particularly sea otters and seals, and the scenic Marina Peninsula Trail. The accessible trails and opportunities for kayaking are also highly rated. Some wish for better guidance on respecting wildlife from rental businesses.
"A true birding paradise. At the eastern end of the Marina parking lot is the entrance to a 1/2 mile loop boardwalk and trail. As the winter season progresses, migrant water fowl, shore and wading birds return to Morro Bay and the Morro Bay Estuary. Depending on the tides and the feeding habits of the birds, 60-80 species may be seen in one day. The loop trail is totally accessible."
