What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Mosquito Lakes is lauded for its stunning natural beauty and profound sense of isolation, making the uphill hike a worthwhile endeavor for many. While the name might be a deterrent, visitors often find the mosquito situation manageable, especially with proper preparation. The main drawbacks are the challenging parking and the small size of the fish for anglers.
"I am not an avid hiker so I wasn’t truly prepared for the mostly uphill hike. The peacefulness of the lake did make the struggle worth it. Most people we met on the trail were going to Eagle Lake so once we arrived we were the only group there. Also did not see any mosquitoes. I would get to the trail head as early as possible as parking was an issue, we had to park almost a mile from the trail head."
