"My husband & I visited when we went on our honeymoon to Acadia back in June, but I didn't get around to posting a review until now.
The staff were all SO kind and attentive. A+ service and personability to everyone we spoke to, from the front desk lady checking us in, to the waitress. The manager was also walking around checking in on everyone.
The food- PHENOMENAL. This is not an exaggeration. Everything we tried tasted as amazing as it looked. Of course Jordan Pond is known for its popovers, which were heavenly with some butter and jam, but their lunch menu was exquisite and worth battling the crazy traffic for.
Just a tip! If you want to secure a spot at the restaurant, I would arrive by 8am to find parking, even though the restaurant doesn't open until 11. We got there at 7:45 and took literally the LAST parking spot in the entire lot (we also checked the overflow parking before we tried the main lot, just to see how busy it was).
After 3 different days of trying to get into Jordan Pond with zero success, the only way we were able to finally have lunch was to get there super early and take a hike around the pond before going back to the resaurant around 10:30 to wait in line to get in before they opened.
All in all, I understand why it's so popular and a bucket list item for Acadia."

"Delicious treats, the view is gorgeous. There is a dining area, indoor seating and outdoor seating. You can go around back and go up the stairs to get to the shops and snack shop.
The Popover Sundae was scrumptious 😍.
Clean restrooms, large gift shops, nice rest area. Polite staff.
Open seating in the balcony in back- up the stairs. Glad we stopped. Next visit we will plan on eating at the dining- definitely make reservation- it’s very busy for good reasons."

"One of my favorite meals during my visit to Maine. Had reservations for dinner on the last day of the season 10/26. And although the menu was extremely limited and we were the absolute last table being served, it did not affect the level of service and quality of meal.
Our server Jackson was super nice and knowledgeable. The popovers are a MUST (so good!) The chicken caesar wrap was perfect👌🏻, the grilled cheese was an elevated version and delicious🙌🏻! And the side of chips completely complimented the meals👍🏻
Also loved how cozy and welcoming the entire dining area was and the picturesque view of Jordan Pond 🫶🏻
Highly recommend making reservations and checking out this dining experience when visiting Acadia National Park! (Check seasonal hours of operation before showing up!!)"
