"Long beautiful way and it worth it. We started from Giant Slide Trail. Trail began right from the Sound Drive road. It goes through the forest, some huge rocks, forest again and then you will be on the immense open space. It was windy and breezy on the top, but the view is amazing."

"Definitely worth the trek. It's long and a bit tiring near the top, but there are views that you don't really get from Cadillac mountain or other peaks to the east"
zach smithson
"If you’re looking for a less busy peak then this is the way to go. Note to plan out the “journey” because even while visiting during off season the island traffic was still a bit of zoo situation. Also if you’re up for the challenge I would suggest to include a couple other summits along the way either on the way to Sargent or on the way back. Parking can be scarce especially around Jordan Pond so Parkman Mountain Parking Area is another option and then you can utilize part of the carriage trail if it’s available."
