"Did a group tour and lunch visit. The mansion was beautiful and the ground gorgeous. The home was artfully decorated for Christmas. The interior of the home is absolutely amazing. Fortunately, no interior photos, except the dining room, are allowed, so you must go see for yourself!!! The owners have put in a lot of hard work bringing the home back into shape. They have done a wonderful job. The luncheon served was very tasty and possibly one of the best catered (again by owners/family) meals I've had on any of our group tours.
The grounds are absolutely beautiful and would be an excellent place for weddings or other gatherings. Plenty of parking as well.

"We were initially impressed with this venue after receiving a brochure with pricing and details, followed by a guided tour with Nichole who was very accommodating and helpful. Unfortunately, once we began the booking process, everything changed.
We were quoted a price much higher than what was in the brochure we had been sent. When we questioned the difference, we were told it was an “old brochure” even though it had current dates clearly printed on it. On top of that, we were pressured to move our wedding date despite the fact that it was available. The reasoning given was that since we were planning a smaller wedding, they wanted to keep the weekend open in case they could book a larger, more profitable event. Eventually, we were told we should feel “very lucky” they were “allowing” us to keep the date, only because of a festival that same weekend.
After booking, communication and cooperation essentially stopped. One example: I specifically requested use of the elevator so that my handicapped mother could comfortably be part of our first look. That request was denied, and we had to change locations at the last minute. To have something so important dismissed was deeply disappointing and showed a lack of care.
It’s also worth noting that my outside planner was fully approved by the venue, and the staff even told us how much they enjoyed working with her. The communication issues were not her fault.
Overall, the venue made no effort to take responsibility for their mistakes, ignored meaningful requests, and often left us feeling dismissed. I would not recommend this venue to couples who want clear communication, respect, and honesty during their wedding planning process."
