"New and beautiful. This location feels safe, it is amazingly built and a lot of research put into its location. With the bridge overhead providing shade and an amazing view. Lots of areas to fish that is well maintained. A lovely gift shop and swings, benches, chairs, picnic tables it is super welcoming.
Pets are not permitted on the pier and that is kind of nice since you don't have to worry about a mess or someone having a pup that doesn't have manners.
Overall this is an amazing pier and park! It also leads up go Ravenel bridge and that walk is breath taking!"

"Wonderful walk under the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge. We saw a dolphin and lots of crabs and birds. The gift shop has lots of nice things. Restrooms are available. Plenty of parking. Plenty of places to sit and take in the scenery."
