What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Tulip Town for its breathtakingly vibrant tulip fields, making it a joyful and picturesque springtime destination. Many appreciate the dog-friendly atmosphere and the overall beauty of the farm. However, some find the food and merchandise to be quite expensive, and a few reviewers felt there was a lack of diverse activities beyond the main floral displays, especially for families with young children.
"Tulip Town is a must-visit for me every single year. I never miss it in April 🌷🌷The vibrant fields of tulips are just breathtaking, and it’s always such a joyful experience. I love going with family and friends , taking photos, and soaking in the beauty.
One of my favorite traditions is heading to Deception Pass afterward for a picnic , it turns into a full day of fun, nature, and great memories.
Tulip Town is dog-friendly 🐾🐾 My pup absolutely loves it there, and it’s such a happy place for both humans and pets. Perfect one day trip for nature lovers."

"Tulip Town is a fantastic place to visit, especially on a sunny day! The tulip fields were vibrant and beautiful, with some flowers in full bloom and others just beginning to open. Despite the crowd, there was ample parking, making the visit hassle-free. We enjoyed the on-site beer stall, food options, and merchandise store. Walking through the colorful fields was an amazing experience. We highly recommend it for a fun and memorable family outing!"

"It took us about 2 and a half hours to drive up to Mt. Vernon, and when we got there, it was honestly underwhelming. We are a family of 4, with two small children under ten. There were plenty of portable restrooms, but the options for food and drinks were minimal and extremely expensive. The main attraction was the fields of Tulips that were gorgeous and in rows of different colors. The problem was that there wasn't really much else there. Ads for Tulip Town said it was kid-friendly with plenty to do. That is false. They are kid-friendly, but there was nothing for them to do besides the tractor ride around the field that took no time at all because the fields were smaller than the others in the area. From the road, don't blink or you'll miss it!! I was hoping for more, but it was an experience we wanted to do before we left. It wasn't very busy compared to the other fields, and I see why. Others have attractions such as petting zoos or LARGE fields. If you're traveling over an hour to come up to Mt. Vernon, splurge a little and go to the larger fields. You won't regret it, except for the parking!!"
