Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk for its vibrant atmosphere, live music, and diverse waterfront dining options, particularly its fresh seafood. However, some find it overly crowded during peak season and note that the marsh smell can be strong, especially in warmer weather. The Christmas lights were also a point of contention for some, not meeting expectations.

"Living in the area i tend to avoid the marsh walk during tourist season. We were lucky on a Saturday afternoon to find the area not busy. Probably due to thunderstorms coming in and out during the day. I love to walk along the marsh. I wish the walkway was longer. Relaxing just to take the sights in. If you are coming for music and drinks, this is your place. You can go from bar to bar and listen to all sorts of music. If you are not into motorcycles, check the calendar. Bike week 2x a year. The marsh wall area is extremely busy."

Amy Jackson

"Loved it! Live music, great food, and great atmosphere! Gotta check this place out if you like seafood, or just food in general!"

Tom Turner

"Beautiful, weather permitting. Very crowded. Go early if you have a family. It can get rowdy after dark."
