"I visited a week after labor day. The beach was largely deserted and there was no line. Since this will likely be my only visit to Myrtle Beach I figure i should at least ride the big wheel. Since there were almost no other riders, the 4 spins of the wheel went by quickly. I can imagine that if I were here in season the ride would have taken longer to load the wheel making it a more interesting experience.
The facility was very well maintained and the wheel looked like it was almost new. The staff seemed tired and were not particularly friendly like i would expect in a carnival. Maybe this is the end of their season and their energy was preparing for the winter. They were efficient and professional.
