"This is one of the best places to walk in Nacogdoches. There are a lot of people who take pictures of the wildlife and plants. Sunset is my favorite time when the sun is just peeking through the trees. I imagine it is beautiful at sunrise but I am never up that early. It's a great place to get a feel for the azaleas and even inspiration for your own garden. The Japanese maples are beautiful in reds and greens."

I didn’t want to leave this gem, a place where many have reflected on past, present and future I’m sure. It’s free to the students and visitors, well thought out and although not a sprawling garden it is full of what we all need at times to respect and (( notice)) the glorious nature that surrounds us. Definitely worth the stroll if your on campus. The Stephen F Austin campus is lovely."
