"The best way to access an Atlantic side beach. No miles of deep sand trails. Just firm packed dirt sand mix that leads to a narrow fairly firm trail(beware of poison ivy here) that leads down to soft sand just steps to the shoreline. About 6.2 miles out and back. Flat easy terrain. One minor hill on one trail that is a terminal moraine- a glacial trash heap. The small stand of pitch pines is amazing to see."
