Plenty of parking the we were here in-between seasons, early November. Plan on at least ½ hr to 45 minutes, take advantage of the telescopes that are placed at different spots to see wildlife..
There are many informative plaques along the way with interesting information. as you enter there is a building that is the bathrooms, they are clean and organized. As you cross the bridge you come to a building with rocking chairs around tom sit and relax while watching nature. this building is wide open for shade, and it looks like they may do some nature seminars under this roof also.
Remember bring out what you brought in."

Bathroom is very clean, rocking chairs overlooking the Strand are delightful, and boardwalk & sandy walkway was well maintained.
We loved listening to all the birds, wish we would have seen gators or snakes, but that’s ok.
Had our service dog along and he was terrified of the panther statue, but loved the cold concrete between our rockers!

"Beautiful trail with lots of wildlife. We saw snakes, alligators and many large birds. There's a Shady pavilion at the start with binoculars. The second half was full if mosquitoes, even bug spray didn't help much, so covering up might be a good idea."
