"I communicated ahead of time regarding a birthday dinner reservation at Dusk for 645pm on a Wednesday. Upon arriving, the waitress at Dusk asked whose birthday it was - which was corny seeing I communicated ahead of time. We were placed in a corner sofa with 14-16" high tables (below knee cap level) - similar to a small night stand. This would be great if we were just having drinks but this for a dinner reservation, let alone a birthday dinner reservation.
Nothing special was done for the birthday whatsoever, ending my 9 year streak of providing a great dinner experience for my girlfriend. Can't say I've ever had a restaurant drop the ball this hard for a birthday.
I was drinking Guinness, which they serve from a can (14.9oz can) yet serve it in a sniffer-style / chalice glass that's 10-12oz but do not give you the rest of the can. The service was very slow and took an average of 10 minutes to get a Guinness can opened and dumped into a glass...
A different waitress presented our bill than the waiter that served us the whole night, which made for an odd finale.
Sushi was good but nothing to rave about.
Overall poor experience and have no intention of returning due to the shameful service."

This has to be one of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve ever been to. Tucked away in the Ritz Carlton Naples, DUSK is a staple for locals and tourists alike. With their signature cocktails, sushi favorites, and vibey decor, there is something for everyone here. I absolutely loved their dusk hamachi, volcano roll, and green tea sensation (a drink specifically for the ‘gram). Service was impeccable too.
