Visiting in July, looking for food recommendations
I'm flying in Sunday and out Thursday, going to be working in Merrimack. Would love recommendations for coffee (especially if they make a good BEC) and dinner. I'm not a picky eater so I'll go for pretty much anything.

Best coffee shops?
Inspired by R/Boston, and obviously this is a state wide sub; but I thought it would be cool to get a list going of all the awesome independently owned coffee shops in the state. Love supporting local business and I loveee coffee.
Looking for the best breakfast sandwich in the state!
Based in southern NH but willing to travel to try the best ones! I have been hearing a lot of good things about Fresh AF bake shop in plaistow and wanted to get other opinions! Best one I’ve ever had was at the Bagel Caboose after my wedding in Portsmouth but that’s technically…

"My husband and I just moved to NH and we love exploring local coffee spots. This place instantly became a favorite! The coffee was incredibly fresh and delicious — you can taste the quality in every sip. And the homemade biscuits? Absolute perfection and such a wonderful bonus.

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – A Cozy Gem with a Killer S’mores Latte
I stopped into Riverwalk Bakery & Café for breakfast and tried the s’mores latte—absolutely delicious! Rich, chocolatey, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Easily one of the best specialty lattes I’ve had in a while.
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with comfy chairs, warm lighting, and cute greenery. It was a bit warm inside, but to be fair, it was nearly 100°F outside that day. The café still felt like a relaxing retreat from the heat.
Staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaging, which made the experience even better. Whether you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax or a charming place to catch up with a friend, this café hits the mark.
I’ll definitely be coming back—next time I’m trying a pastry too!"
