What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Marathon Music Works is a highly-regarded Nashville venue praised for its energetic atmosphere, intimate setting, and diverse concert lineup. Attendees appreciate the reasonable drink prices, free water stations, and quick entry process. While some reviews mention mixed sound quality and limited seating, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many eager to return for future shows.
"Fantastic! Loved the venue. Merch could have been laid out better.... But there were 7 acts so probably the best the could do. Awesome place though, will go again."
Jace Madden
"Amazing must go. The owner/builder of this is brilliant. So many treasures to see. The amazing amount of history captured and displayed by this place is incredible. Better than so many of the museums I have been to. I you love tools, cars, machinery, history or old photos. This is your dream. Things to teach and pass on to the next generation. Loved it."
Serena Becker
"We've been to many venues, and MMW is one of my favorites. Parking isn't bad, we have found free spots before... and also paid for a 10$ spot. The venue is in a low traffic, less busy area of Nashville. It is an all age venue unless stated otherwise for specific shows. Entry is quick. Hand stamps for drinks, so you don't have to show your ID over and over. Free watercoolers at the end of both bars.. No cash venue. I haven't tried them, but they do have small areas for food, specifically a hotdog spot. Women's bathroom is small, but someone is there chaperoning and offering toiletries inside. Very safe vibe. Plenty of standing floor space, especially for a more intimate venue. We've seen multiple artists here, and they are easy to view from any angle. Central air and fans blowing, it's easy to stay cool during the show. Little sitting room, unfortunately, tables are typically full. I am not sure how inclusive this venue is, I don't know how challenging it would be to view the band in a wheelchair or while utilizing adaptive devices without paying for VIP seating."
