Reviews Summary
Visitors generally find the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame to be an impressive and informative experience, especially considering its frequent free admission. While some suggest improvements like clearer signage and more interactive displays, the depth of exhibits honoring Tennessee's sports heroes is widely appreciated. It's considered a worthwhile stop for sports fans and a pleasant indoor break.
"Overall thought: Short. But GO SEE IT!
I must say it exceeded my expectations for a free event. The depth of information and exhibits available is truly impressive. I could have easily spent hours exploring everything it has to offer. The hall covers a wide range of sports and highlights the achievements of various athletes, making it feel inclusive in many ways. What sets it apart is its thoughtful inclusion of memorabilia that also addresses important social issues, offering a well-rounded experience.
However, there are a few drawbacks to consider. Firstly, there's a need for more clear signage outside the hall, as I had trouble finding the entrance. Additionally, it would be great to see more interactive displays to engage younger visitors further. The inclusion of the Ja Morant jersey felt somewhat out of place. Lastly, some placards are simply typed on paper, which could be upgraded to enhance the overall presentation.
Despite these minor issues, I walked away from my visit having learned a great deal and truly impressed."

"While in Nashville, we were taking in sites outside of the main part of Boradway during the day. It was also triple digit Temps with humidity. We decided to stop in here to get a break from the heat. It is located at the visitors center in the front of the Bridgestone Arena. I don't think we would have known this without Googles help. Once inside the visitors center, there is a small shop, snacks, restrooms, and the Sports Hall of Fame. During the month of August, admission is free. It was being sponsored by Vanderbilt Athletics. It's not a huge museum, but it is worth a stop. There were a lot of people who got their start in Tennessee. The display were great. My husband enjoyed the Colts display of Peyton Manning. He is a Colts fan. We spent just under an hour in there, but you could freely see what you wanted for as long as you would like to. It wasn't busy at all. It is a nice break from the main strip and very clean inside."

"Nice showcase of sports of all types. Although each type of sport only had a small preview of that sport, it gives enough to peak ones curiosity.
Good family preview if you have those with a sports interest. But even for those with a targeted interest to one or two sports, it can still be a nice stop. And currently it's free, so take an opportunity to swing by."
