What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests consistently praise Union Station Hotel for its stunning historic architecture, exceptional service, and unique room features like high ceilings. The convenient location and enjoyable dining/bar experiences also receive high marks. Minor issues like weak shower pressure or nearly empty dispensers were noted but did not detract significantly from overall positive stays.
"I recently stayed one night at Union Station Hotel (room 702) and had an overall positive experience with just a couple of minor drawbacks.
The highlights: the bed was extremely comfortable, and the view from the 7th floor was wonderful. I loved the unique window feature next to the toilet (with blinds for privacy), and the free water bottles in the room were especially appreciated during the summer heat. The decor had a nice historic charm, and the room itself was very clean and spacious. The AC unit cooled the room impressively fast, and the towels provided were plentiful and high quality.
The staff really stood out—everyone I interacted with was super friendly, and the bartender at the hotel bar was excellent. The drinks were of great value, and I also enjoyed the historical character of the hotel.
The location was great! This hotel was only a few minutes drive from the airport and about 10 minutes walking distance to the main areas on Broadway and Hattie B's.
On the flip side, the shower gel dispenser was nearly empty when I arrived, and unfortunately, the water pressure in the shower was weak, with the water only getting lukewarm at best.
Even with those small issues, I would happily stay here again and recommend Union Station Hotel for its charm, comfort, and excellent service."

"We stayed here on a road trip from Texas to Pennsylvania with my family of 4 at the beginning of August. The building is beautiful, but what really makes this hotel stand out is their front desk staff. From the minute we pulled into the parking lot until we checked out the next day, everyone was so nice and accommodating. The front desk was amazing. When we checked in, it must have been a slow night, because they upgraded us to a room with bunk beds which was the highlight of the trip for my 5 & 7 year olds. The kids were so excited to not have to share a bed! We ate breakfast at the restaurant and the wait staff were so kind and patient with my kids. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Nashville. This location may have earned Marriott a customer for life just for how they treated my children!"

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! I love that the piece of architecture has been preserved in grand fashion. The hotel is easy walking distance to the arena, restaurants, the art museum. So if you love to get out and walk in whatever city you are visiting, this is a great choice to a blend of historic charm with the mix of a vibrant city."
