"When the fishing is good there are too many people. Then the weeds take over. By mid June you can feel the end. Weeds on every cast. Bundle up and try it in March. Be prepared. It goes from 40 and nice to 30 and frosty within 30 minutes quite often. Good chance to get a Walleye or two when it’s still cold."

"It was a beautiful windy day! The grounds were well kept and the sights were unmatched. I will warn future visitors that there is no fishing by the light house. There was a gentleman there fishing. 2 DNR guys pulled up and made him leave. Still a really cool place!"
