The building has great acoustics, an excellent sound system, an expansive hardwood dance floor and a large bar in an adjacent room.
I came for a concert last weekend and had a fantastic time, with pretty much the entire audience dancing the whole time!! The air conditioning could use an upgrade, as it can get quite hot inside when the temperature outside is pushing 100°F.
The Miners Foundry was built in 1855, as a foundry and blacksmith shop to repair and replace heavy mining machinery and equipment in the surrounding foothills. At the height of operation, it employed around 150 iron workers. There are lots of interesting artifacts and photograph on display throughout the building to learn about its place in California history."
