Raritan River rowing (NJ, Rutgers area)
Anyone here that went to Rutgers or has otherwise rowed on the Raritan River able to tell me which sections are or are not rowable? The further upstream the better, and just looking for maybe a 2500 meter stretch I could safely navigate in a single.

Pickup/Dropoff Point for New Brunswick Train Station?
I'm planning on picking up a friend at the New Brunswick train station this weekend and from Google Maps street view, there was no obvious pickup/dropoff area. Can anyone advise where the best car waiting area is? Thanks!

"Albany Street Bridge carries NJ Highway 27 over the Raritan River, connecting Highland Park Borough (Raritan Ave) to New Brunswick, NJ (Albany Street). This bridge was originally built in 1881, but it has gone under several modifications over the years since then. This bridge carries both vehicular as well as pedestrian traffic."

"Bridge from New Brunswick to Highland park. Lots of wildlife. From reptiles to eagles. Blue herons and egrets have also been showing up more and more. Just use caution if walking or biking because traffic usually doesn't acknowledge pedestrians."
