Visitors praise Kolob Canyons for its stunning, less-crowded beauty and the informative, friendly rangers. The scenic drive and accessible trails are highlights, offering a peaceful alternative to the main Zion canyon. Some note the visitor center is small and parking can be limited, but the overall experience is highly recommended for its unique charm and tranquility.

"Great little visitor center part of Zion NP, rangers are very knowledgeable about the local trails as well as hidden ones (you’ll have to ask), features bathroom, gift shop.
This is also the LAST water station in the park so be sure to fill up your water bottles before going up and hit the trails.

This part of the park offers stunning views of the canyon, a charming little river, a cove, overlooks and picnic areas.

There is limited parking but the park is less popular than Zion proper, perhaps for the better especially if you enjoy quiet hikes."

Mr Blue

"Pretty 5 mile scenic drive. The views are stunning. Definitely stop by here when you are visiting Zion NP. Nice hiking trails."

Irene Estlund

"This is a very small visitors’ center for such a popular tourist site. Here you will pay your entry fee unless you already have one of the many National Park type passes. Parking can be a challenge even during the off-season due to limited amount of parking spaces. You will also find restrooms, a water-bottle filling station, a gift shop and a US Ranger Information Desk, which can assist you in any matters you might have while visiting the park. The Rangers at this location were very polite, friendly and helpful."
