What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Woolsey Hall's stunning architecture and excellent acoustics, particularly praising the grand organ. However, many note the discomfort of the original wooden seats and the lack of air conditioning, which can detract from the experience during warmer months.
"A lot of things were closed when I came. Pretty nice inside. Came to look around. Right next to the cool library. They had a 20 year university reunion here. Wonder if anything changed much since then. Things still look old but nice"
Justin Delossantos
"They have done a good job of restoring/maintaining the theater and updating the amenities. There's also a bar i have yet to visit (separate Establishment) underneath a section of woolsey Hall. My only complaints about the venue is that they've retained the hard wooden seats that are pretty cramped and lack any sort of cushioning, which makes them difficult to sit in comfortably. Otherwise, the acoustics are great and the programming is great as well."
Daniel “DANNY BEE” Brinsmade
"Beautiful facility, architecture is amazing, bits very retro, so the seats are still wooden, one downside is that there is no air conditioning, so any event you see in the warm weather will be a little uncomfortable"
