Van Sandts unique and eerie story is one of a local girl, who after dropping her baby from the bridge, hanged herself. Some say you can still hear the cries of the baby. For this, it's often called "cry baby bridge"
Not much room for parking at all, but it's still worth making a visit and finding a spot to walk from, especially if you like covered bridges and scary stories"
