What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise New Iberia City Park for its cleanliness, ample shade, and peaceful atmosphere. It's a beloved spot for families with children, offering engaging playgrounds and a refreshing swimming pool. While some wish for updates to the smaller play area, the park's natural beauty and recreational opportunities make it a highly recommended local gem.
"Love this park wish they would update the little kids side but its still awesome and we love it. The big kid side has a huge park that is very tall so I wouldn't let little ones on unless you're going up with them as they have openings they can fall down from but they recommend that only 5 to 12 year olds play. Good way to blow 2 to 4hrs that's the max I can do with 2kids. Plenty of shade which is a must for my 5month old while my 2 year old plays. Not littered with trash and everyone is nice. Also has ducks but ask you to not feed them. Clean up after yourselves and enjoy being in nature."
