"Beautiful place! Love the architectural style and design of this plaza. We came here for the "Opera in the Piazza". Although it rained hard and the show started late, we really enjoyed the talented performances. I'm glad we brought our umbrellas!!"

"We really enjoy the Piazza d’Italia and love to sit on its shady benches listening to the water features. This is a little realized area and almost never crowded. Originally built to commemorate the contribution of Italian immigrants to New Orleans it was also featured in the 1984 Worlds Fair. This is a nice spot to sit and relax or admire the architecture."
