What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
CAMP offers imaginative, themed experiences that delight many children, transforming their store into interactive worlds. While the staff is praised for their energy and engagement, some visitors find the ticket prices high for the duration and scope of the activities, with mixed feelings on whether the experience justifies the cost. The toy store also features unique items at premium prices.
"We bought ticket online to book our spot for one of the early morning sessions. Since it was Sunday, found parking on 5th ave, right in front of the venue. Upon arrival, the front section had the check-in register where we received our wristbands. They also had all sorts of merchandise goods, toys and games on display as well.
The session started promptly on time. There was a custom short video that everyone got to watch before entering Bluey’s home. Once the video ended, we walked into the living room of the Heeler family. Then we got to see the kitchen and bedrooms as well. They were very nicely decorated to resemble the details of the cartoon series. There were also toys and games for kids to play with. But the space got repetitive pretty quickly. Since the rooms were small and crowded with kids and adults, it seemed like my daughter was bored within 10 minutes. In the later parts, they did a story telling session and a meet and greet session with Bluey and Bingo that salvaged the experience somewhat.
The staff members were friendly. They put their best effort to make it fun and joyful for the kids. I was pleasantly surprised to see the photos for meet and greet session were free. But paying tickets for 2 adults and a kid, the experience fell far short of expectations, since literally the adults had nothing to do except keeping an eye on their kids, in addition to such confined space that kids could finish exploring within 10 minutes or so. It didn’t feel worth the price."

"This experience was wonderful. My son loves Bluey and we went 3-4 times with our summer pass. The team members are so excited and inviting to our wild toddlers. The toys in the store are definitely over priced but we didn't go for that. We have gone to camp before for other experiences and they never fail. Can't wait to see what the next experience will be..."

"One time thing, there is not many activities to do The Bluey experience was honestly not worth the price. There aren’t many activities for kids, and the overall experience feels pretty limited for what they charge. The staff is playful and genuinely tries to cheer the kids up, which I appreciate, but the setup just doesn’t match the cost.
Some of the toys also looked old and a bit unsanitary. The place definitely needs more consistent cleaning and sanitization to feel comfortable for families. Overall, it’s an okay one-time visit, but I wouldn’t recommend it for the price."

The CAMP Experience Model
The store itself is designed to be a destination, featuring a wide array of toys, games, books, and apparel. However, the real draw for many are the limited-time, ticketed events. These events, such as the 'Bluey x CAMP' or 'Encanto Experience,' transport visitors into the heart of beloved stories, complete with themed decor, activities, and sometimes character meet-and-greets.
While the concept is widely praised for its creativity and ability to capture children's imaginations, visitor feedback on value for money can be varied. Some find the ticket prices high for the duration and scope of the activities, while others feel the unique, memorable experience justifies the cost.
Navigating the Bluey x CAMP Adventure
Inside, the space is meticulously designed to replicate key locations from Bluey's home, including the living room, kitchen, and bedrooms. Interactive elements are central to the experience, featuring games like 'Keepy Uppy' and 'Magic Asparagus,' encouraging active participation. Storytelling sessions and opportunities to meet Bluey and Bingo are also highlights that delight young fans.
Despite the excitement, some reviews indicate that the experience can feel somewhat repetitive or confined, particularly for adults or children who aren't deeply invested in Bluey. The value proposition is often debated, with some finding it a worthwhile splurge for the joy it brings their children, while others feel it falls short of expectations for the price point.
The CAMP Toy Store
Many of the items available are unique and may not be found in typical big-box retailers. This exclusivity can make CAMP a go-to spot for finding special gifts. However, it's worth noting that prices in the store are generally higher than what you might find online or at other discount retailers.
The store layout is designed to be engaging, with play areas integrated throughout, allowing children to interact with some of the toys before purchase. This hands-on approach adds to the overall family-friendly atmosphere of the CAMP brand.
