"Highly recommend to join the guided tour (free!) so you can see the rooms upstairs as they are the spirit of the house. Tour guide and rangers are all knowledgeable and friendly. The house is very well maintained. Full of history. Walking distance from the subway station. The garden is lovely to walk around too. "We visited on a weekday, there were a few others visiting, but no wait to enter. We missed the tour by minutes, but we toured the small exhibit area and watched two short movies. It was very interesting to see how the house was moved from its original location a block and a half away. Quite an undertaking.

It is accessible, with wide entrances, accessible bathroom and an elevator!
NO parking on site. Street parking was challenging.
