Reviews Summary

Little India is celebrated for its authentic Indian groceries, vibrant atmosphere, and diverse culinary offerings, from street food to ready-made meals. While some find prices slightly higher than smaller competitors, the extensive selection and freshness of products are highly praised. Service has reportedly improved, making it a worthwhile destination for a comprehensive South Asian shopping and dining experience.

"Very Nice indian products groceries store, with ready made food pack, vegetable, fruits etc..on 3rd Avenue NY"

Iqbal Nathani

"This place should be a national treasure. Clean and well stocked, seems they package their own produce such as curry leaves and cilantro so as to maximize freshness. Really unfortunate that this is the closest place from Brooklyn that has curry leaves but my trips here are always worthwhile with its variety of items and fresh samosas to boot. Noticed some negative reviews on Yelp from a year ago; fortunately service seems to have improved… prices are a tiny bit higher than it’s smaller competitors but greater selection makes it easier to get my shopping done in one place"

Cathy K

"Little India Market is an South Asian grocery that some produce, packaged foods and ingredients from India, and a some household items. the store is well-maintained, clean, and organized. while there’s a lot of products in here, it’s not overwhelming. there’s produce, refrigerated units of drinks and frozen foods, aisles of cooking ingredients, and a variety of snacks and candy that you wouldn’t normally find in your typical store.

haven’t bought any grocery items here yet, but i have stopped here for snacks. the ones i have had did not disappoint. like the Cadbury chocolates are the OG ones—the ones made in the UK and they taste waaaaaay better. also tried the Masala Lays chips which were great…not that salty full of a south blend of spices. those chips hit different. and there’s load of different candies and snacks from abroad here. all good stuff that I look forward to trying."
