Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Mercer Labs' immersive art and technology, calling it a futuristic and visually stunning experience. Many highlight the interactive exhibits and the unique atmosphere, making it a popular spot for dates and photo opportunities. While some find the ticket price steep and note a lack of context in exhibits, the overall sentiment is positive, with many recommending it as a must-visit NYC attraction.

"This is a nice immersive show. It’s crowded but still reasonably enjoyable. Bought our tickets online. They run promotions too so if you catch it you might get almost 50% off. Some of the rooms are a bit too small. Navigating through rooms was confusing, we had to ask direction twice. The showcase was a good combo of robotics and digital immersive show. Expect families and kids; there was a room with foam balls that drew that crowd the most. The emotional journey through rooms is not quite connected. The first and largest room was the most impactful. Go and enjoy the experience to see and feel something different."

Barbara Gulten

"Bought the date night holiday package, the vodka drink was 10/10. The museum itself is clean and very cool but it is very small. Also while some of the artwork is explained a lot of it is not and makes it confusing as to what you’re looking at. A few of them I genuinely felt like I was being gaslit to think it was art lol. Coolest rooms were definitely the first one and the robotic arm making art in the sand."

Meranda Green - Scott (Mer)

"A beautifully designed and well-maintained space, featuring multiple rooms curated to engage and stimulate different senses.

Anime fans will especially enjoy this museum, as several rooms are dedicated to anime-inspired experiences. Although the visit is designed to last about an hour, the atmosphere feels relaxed — there’s no pressure to rush or move through the rooms quickly.

Highlights include a stunning floral room where visitors can enjoy a drink, a sound-focused room that enhances auditory experiences, and interactive robots — one that can be controlled to draw in sand, and another that plays music based on hand gestures.

While admission is on the pricier side, it’s a unique and enjoyable experience, perfect for sharing with friends and discovering something new."
