"spent nice sunny first October weekend afternoon on rooftop terrace. Itβs the best NYPL I can say. Moment of peace settling down and read. More travelers appearing for trending picture posts. Bathroom is super neat and clean"

"I visited the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library right after spending some time at the NYC Public Library, looking for a quiet place to read and relax away from the city noise.
Just across the street, this place truly feels like an oasis in Midtown! The rooftop has amazing views, and the atmosphere inside is calm and welcoming.
It was actually my first time visiting a library, and I honestly felt very comfortable and appreciated.
Such a great spot to unwind and enjoy a peaceful moment in the city."

"This is one of those old classic build new york building. Low ceilings, old elevators, semi-open layout. But the roof top is nice⦠in a way, had somewhat a view, but blocked by the high rooftop railings.
Rooftop cafe: very basic from drinks to snacks.
Cleanliness: very clean throughout
Noise level: there are some weird noise made by who knows what when we were visiting.
People: way too many homeless going in and out of this library, they use the restrooms to clean themselves, and bring their smells and pet⦠ugh.
Computers: they have a good number of them for people to use but seems were mostly occupied by the homeless users
Elevators: very slow, long wait to get up a floor
Staff: mainly stayed behind counters at all floors, did not see any active service performed.
Location: central, convenient"
