What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The PIT is celebrated for its vibrant improv community and diverse comedy shows, offering a welcoming space for both performers and audiences. While many visitors rave about the supportive atmosphere and hilarious performances, some note that show quality can be hit-or-miss, particularly with smaller or less advertised events.
"My friends and I attended a crowdwork show that was advertised by the PIT a couple weeks ago. When we arrived - the venue for this specific event was in a smaller room directly next to the PIT location. We showed up a little early and upon entering the room (looked like it could hold a max of 10 people) Realized we were the ONLY ones in attendance at the show other than the ones performing. Once folks started going up to perform their stand up routine, it was very clear that these were folks that were perhaps just starting out. The show was flat out not entertaining and I was shocked that they actually made us pay for this at the front before coming in. Again, nothing against the performers, but definitely NOT as advertised after reading these reviews. I wouldn't recommend attending an event at the place or at least buy tickets at the door to make sure that the event is as advertised at the venue."
