Reviews Summary

NYC thrift stores offer a diverse shopping experience, from budget-friendly 'pay by the pound' options to curated vintage boutiques. While some find incredible deals and unique items, others note that prices, especially in Manhattan, can be high for the quality. The selection is often praised, particularly for vintage clothing and home goods, though the shopping experience can require significant digging.

"Excellent vintage thrift shop! Everything is so nicely displayed as well. And I feel like the prices have greatly improved which is why I'm back to coming here at least once a week. This thrift shop is very special, impressive & worth the visit!"

Sia Bayiokos

"One of the best thrift shops I've ever been too. Literally a gold mine. The one thing is it's defintely not totally affordable. It's as if you're shopping leftovers from an estate sale of the elite or something. Beautiful stunning pieces that you really won't find anywhere else. Vintage furniture that looks as if it is from a 90s movie set. But the prices totally reflect it. If you're a lover of fur jackets this is also the place for you. Such a wide array of gorgeous pieces for a hefty price. There's also a large collection of antique frames."

Dane Martel

"what's old today might new tomorrow? don't get it? that's part of the intrinsic value of vintage items in a nutshell. Vintage Thrift Shop is where you can donate goods in good condition--tax deductible, too. the store is less focused on clothes (they do carry them) and most of the interior is filled with furniture decor items, jewelry, glassware, glasses frames, old books and magazines, and more. the merchandise is carefully curated, and items are in good condition. call before donating to make sure what you have is what they want/need. i forget which charity this raises money for...but slowing down rampant consumerism with items being reused is a good thing. staff are personable."
