"Lovely staff. Great evening. Book in advance. The comic pool here is legendary and the booths are lovely to sit in. Been twice now and never been disappointed by the place.
P.S I took the photo after the show! Do not bring them out before!"

"Great experience! We had a super friendly server, Dala, who made sure we received our drinks quickly, and checked on us mid-show. We had a reservation for the 10 pm show on a Tuesday, and arrived to line up at the show entrance at 9:30. We were first in line, and got to choose whether we wanted to be in the very front or not. The comedians and host were very entertaining! No big name comedians there that evening, but the experience was so fun, regardless! We also had dinner at the Olive Tree Cafe beforehand, and that was great! Just a short walk around the corner to the Village Underground. So glad we made this a part of our trip to NYC!"

"Village Underground features some of the best comedians in the world and is just around the corner from the original Comedy Cellar location. I actually preferred this space as it felt roomier and more comfortable. The show was incredible from start to finish, with a fantastic host and a strong lineup of comics. They even had a live keyboard player and drummer for the introductions, which added a great vibe. The service was excellent and the cover charge is an absolute steal. If you love comedy, this place is a must. Go see a show and enjoy the night."
