It's a good size, well staffed with attentive servers, with a conveniently situated bar area, and picturesque. It could benefit from having additional restrooms on that level. I was advised there are others though. Overall, we had a great time at the event we attended here."

The night reached another level with the surprise pop-up guest artists, who added unforgettable magic and showed just how far Jimmy’s influence stretches across generations and genres. This was more than an event — it was a masterclass in Black musical excellence, culture, and legacy.
City Winery provided the perfect intimate stage to experience it all. One area for improvement would be the featured wine selection: with an audience made up primarily of women, the pairing could have leaned into a rich, bold red that appeals broadly but especially to women, and a second option offering a crisp, fruit-forward white like a Sauvignon Blanc. That thoughtful touch would have elevated the experience even further.
Truly, this was an epic celebration of artistry, history, and genius that will stay with me forever.
