Reviews Summary
Win Son Bakery is celebrated for its innovative Taiwanese-American fusion, particularly the viral scallion pancake BEC. While prices are on the higher side, most visitors find the generous portions and unique flavors well worth the cost. Some dishes can be hit-or-miss, but the overall experience is highly praised for its delicious food and pleasant ambiance.
"Ambiance (5/5): Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Very minimalistic and open space with a bathroom inside
Service (N/A): It is an order at the counter and they bring out the food to you. You grab your own utensils and water.
Mortadella scallion pancake ($18) (5/5): Okay the hype was worth it… It was very large and super filling. The pancake had a nice exterior crunch and all the ingredients melted together wonderfully. There was also a side dipping sauce that reminded of thousand island but also tasted wonderful with the pancake. I was full literally all day.
Twice Baked Bolo Bao PB ($8): The melted chocolate on the bottom was superb but overall was an okay muffin. It had too much going on.
This was an expensive breakfast. The scallion pancake IMO should not be that expensive. However, there’s so much more on the menu that I want to try so I will definitely be back."

"One of my new favorite breakfast spots! I should have had the pancake without the bacon. The egg and cheese looked better, as there was too much bacon (some may like that), which overpowered the pancake and made it slightly salty. I also had the sticky-sweet-savory Pork Fan Tuan. It’s crispy fried dough, fluffy pork floss, and warm sticky rice. Unusual in its texture, but flavorful; I liked it. Finally, I had the millet mochi donut, which had an interesting, gooey texture and a slightly salty flavor. I’m still debating whether I actually liked it…. Overall, for $37, including a cappuccino, I had a delicious and filling brunch!"

"Great Taiwanese fusion spot. Their scallion pancake had a crispy dough and packed with stuffing but lacked the flavor punch that the slightly spicy and creamy sauce made up for. Their hot soy milk was alright but complimentary fried dough fritters was a surprise. Finally the donut tasted pretty plain but the texture (between plain flour and rice flour) won some points. After the experience it was clear that we should have came for lunch/their savory options over breakfast but that will be for next time."
