"My stay here was decent. The location is walking distance to Newark Penn Station. There are a few restaurants and stores around for your convenience. However, inside the unit the walls are incredibly thin. No microwave, no washer and dryer(however there are community ones that’s located on the floor your unit is on with storage for your household needs). My neighbors blasted music throughout the day and night and smoked weed which ventilated into my unit. I complained and wrote several emails; however, I guess since this tenant has been here longer than me it was tolerated. The water pressure in my bathroom had been an issue since I’ve moved in. The maintenance guy did attempt to fix it, it just came up unsuccessful each time. A previous unit in assuming left a filter on the shower head, and the landlord suggested that may have been an issue, but when they took the shower head off the water pressure was the same. The housekeeping ladies were extremely nice and kept the common areas smelling nice. Sonia in the leasing(or who does the paperwork, rent payments , etc.) was nice and did the best she could to help ; however, ultimately the landlord has to fix the dogs barking throughout the day, the weed/ cigarette smoking in the units, nothing he(Javier) can do about the thin walls and noise, I am aware the it’s stated in the lease that quiet hours start at 10PM, but that doesn’t stop the neighbors at all, unfortunately. This year went by quick and I’m happy I am able to be finally free. He did not walk me out and suggested I leave the keys on the counter(which to me is unprofessional); however, who am I? Just a tenant paying him my rent."
