What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about UDairy Creamery's unique, student-made ice cream flavors and the farm-fresh quality. The generous portions and friendly service are consistently highlighted as positives. While some find certain flavors unusual, the overall experience is highly recommended for its delicious treats and supportive mission.
"Probably my favorite ice cream shop at this point. I've had the pleasure of not only enjoying their ice cream for a few years now, but also touring the facilities where the ice cream (and cheese!) is made: in the Creamery itself and the Genuardi Food Innovation Laboratory next door.
It's cool to see the students in action, and the flavors they create are fantastic. My favorite regulars are Nom Nom Nom and U Be-Be Baby, plus I'm obsessed with the "limited edition" flavors CANR Cone-nection (created for Ag Day 2025) and the elusive Dela-Bear (released only when a bear visits close to campus).
Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area!"

"Came here with my girlfriend for ice cream and we were seriously impressed. I got the Fairy Floss and she had the U-Be-Be Baby — both were absolutely delicious. The flavors tasted fresh and authentic, not overly sweet or artificial. You can tell they use real ingredients. The service was great too — friendly and fast. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re into quality ice cream!"

"I was delighted to see so many choices for dairy free options for my daughter. It is challenging to find an ice cream place that offers dairy free choices, so while my kids were growing up, our family of 6 often didn't go to ice cream shops because I wouldn't go somewhere that she couldn't have a treat like her siblings. She really enjoyed the dairy free strawberry ice cream on a sugar cone. I had the peach ice cream, which was good but nothing special. My husband had one scoop of the all nighter on a sugar cone. Their helpings were generous and the staff was friendly despite how crowded it was. There is no indoor seating other than a few stools, and on a high temp day in the summer, it was too hot to sit outside, so we ate in our car."
