"Made a point to come out here shortly before moving across the country. It’s small and probably a bit too niche for the average passerby to visit, but historic home museums are hard to come by in Oklahoma outside of the opulent Oil rush mansions around OKC and Tulsa. If you have an interest in turn of the century anthropology, interior decoration and design, there plenty of examples of Edwardian and late Victorian artifacts to get a good look at. Even though I’ve gone a bit overboard with the photos on this review, I still recommend a visit as I think being a physical presence in the space is an important aspect of contextualizing the building as a place where people lived. It’s a very different, almost haunting feeling compared to walking around gallery-based history museums where you see a lot of artifacts from all over the place displayed in a very academic manner divorced from their original settings. It’s cozy, this house makes me miss Oklahoma even though I know I’m never gonna live in a house like this. I could always come here in a luxurious outfit and pretend for an hour or so, I suppose."

"The house looks great. We stopped to take pictures outside. It was our fault we didn't go in, we were tired from a long day."
