Reviews Summary

Visitors generally admire the McCullough Memorial Bridge for its stunning architecture and scenic beauty, especially when illuminated at night. However, significant concerns are raised about the safety of its narrow and unprotected sidewalks for pedestrians and cyclists, with some deeming it dangerous.

"I adore this bridge and while some folks think it's embarrassing to not be a set in the past bikeable type of economy. It's not a joke when people say it rains 9 to 10 months of the year there. Between how many folks that go to school and work here. Its insane to think we should all just bicycle it to our daily lives."

LaBella Manginelli

"Pretty, but humongously dangerous for pedestrians and bicyclists. The sidewalk is unprotected the entire way, and narrower than my handlebars. The road is in desperate need of a road diet, removing at least one, ideally both car lanes, replacing them with a bidirectional cycle track and a regional rail line. It’s frankly embarrassing that such a small place that could be so easily bikable has any car infrastructure left. It’s just a waste of tax dollars and a drag on the economy."

John Gardiner IV

"Very sweet bridge! Love the design and it has amazing views and is beautiful to see at night."
