"The parking lot is large, well marked and easy to see from the road. There are bathrooms at the trailhead that are always stocked and clean.
Teneriffe is a hard hike-- over 6 miles and some serious elevation gain, but no technical skills needed. The final summit is a bit of a rock scramble, but nothing that requires gear. Beautiful views at the top of the surrounding mountains.
The main trail is very easy to follow, and while there are a few junctions with criss crossing trails, they are all well marked/signed."

"Hiked 10/21/25. Started 1230 at trailhead towards talus loop and took the longer easy way up. Summit 1500 and enjoyed the peak solo. With knees feeling froggy I descended the infamous kamikaze trail that is unmarked and not seen on the map. I managed to catch myself from bouncing on my rear quite a few times. Quite enjoyable hike! Returned at 1715 to a dead car and phone on 1%. Was saved by a gentleman with a battery jumper."

"Hiked Teneriffe Falls Trail on June 5, 2024. It’s about 6 miles round trip with 1,700 feet of elevation gain — a good workout but very rewarding. This is one of my favorite waterfalls in Washington. The trail is well-maintained, peaceful, and lined with beautiful trees. Along the way, there are some great mountain views as well. A Discover Pass is required. There’s plenty of parking and clean restrooms at the trailhead."
