First trip to Gore, a couple questions...
Heading up to Gore for the first time in a couple weeks. Thanks to info found here we're planning starting at the North Creek Ski Bowl to avoid lift lines. Two questions I have and hope someone on here knows the answers: 1. Is there ample (and free) parking up there or does it…

Navigating Gore with no Gondola?
Heading up to Gore this weekend, but nervous since the Gondola is still down. Has anyone been there recently who can share their experience with this? Nervous that 1) Going to be tough to get around and 2) lines will be insane at any of the other longer lifts. Thanks!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Gore Mountain is praised for its extensive terrain diversity and generally good snow conditions, offering a vast experience for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. The gondola ride offers great views, though the windows can be scratched, and on-mountain dining can be expensive with long lines.
"We visited for their October festivities and to also ride the gondola up the mountain. We also hiked down part of the way to the open ski lift down. It was a fun experience and beautiful fall foliage.
They had a folk band playing some music and tents set up with many crafts tents and original handmade pieces. It was very nice we enjoyed it."
Mattie Murray
"The best skiing resort in NY. Parking can get tight if you come late. Ski lifts are in good condition. Pricing on tickets are extremely pricing but if you come here with good snow and great weather you’ll be happy. For us the drive here is about 5 hours so we generally sleep in the ADK park before. Conditions here are always better than white face"
Tom Carcetti
"Visited during the harvest fest. The vendors were diverse. Could have used more food trucks as the lines were very long. The gondola ride to the top of the mountain was very nice with great views."
