Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the spectacular and expansive views at Roosevelt Point, often highlighting the unique perspective offered by venturing down the less-traveled trail. While the main overlook is easily accessible, the real reward comes from exploring further. Some visitors noted limited services and the need to pack food and water, especially if the lodge is closed.

"Loved this hike and the amazing view. There is a small descent which makes for getting some great pictures at a different level than other overlooks. The first part is an easy hike for anyone to do. The last part is more steep but not super strenuous. We enjoyed seeing more vegetation and lizards on this trail. Also found a lot of geodes and other best looking rocks."

L Brown

"The north rim was not busy, mainly because it usually isn't, but also the lodge & cabins were closed due to a water pipe problem. Spectacular sights all along the rim. At Roosevelt Point be sure to follow the narrow dirt path to the left for expansive views! Bring water! Limited food too so pack a lunch or at least mega snacks. (We didn't & had to cut short our exploring.)"

Robert Davia

"Amazing views! Take the trail on the left side and adventure down towards the rock formations"
