The Bortle Scale here is 2 which is 100% ideal for seeing the Milky Way and whatever other star, constellation, planet, etc you want to see!
During the day, this place was crawling with tourists. We were fortunate enough to spend about 4-5 hours here, alone, for a perfect night of looking at the heavens above. Unfortunately, I have not mastered the phone/telescope integration for me to share some of the beautiful images we were able to see."

Like others, we found the gravel roads in drivable shape even towing a travel trailer. However, there had been heavy rains, resulting in some mud and puddles on the road, and the site had slippery areas as well. We also found our trailer sucked in some road dust, which may take more driving to completely reveal."
