Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Inlet Jetty's spectacular sunrise views and its role as a focal point for major events like the White Marlin Open and Fourth of July fireworks. It's also a popular fishing spot, though swimmers should be cautious of strong currents. Some note issues with pricing discrepancies in local shops.
"The Inlet Jetty at Ocean City provides one of the most spectacular sunrise viewing spots along Maryland's coastline. This morning spectacle transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary as the sun emerges from the Atlantic horizon, painting the sky in rich amber hues. The strategic placement of the solitary channel marker in the distance adds a perfect focal point to the scene, standing as a silent sentinel against the magnificent backdrop.
The interplay of light on water creates a mesmerizing golden pathway across the gentle waves, while wispy clouds streak across the sky in delicate brushstrokes of orange and gold. The beach's sandy shore, darkened by the morning tide, provides a stark contrast to the luminous display above, with scattered seabird tracks telling tales of early morning foraging.
What makes this location particularly special is its accessibility and unobstructed eastern view. The jetty itself serves as both a practical harbor entrance marker and an ideal photography platform, attracting both serious photographers and casual observers seeking a moment of tranquility before the beach comes alive with activity.
For those willing to rise early, this natural theater offers a daily performance that varies with each sunrise, influenced by weather conditions, cloud formations, and seasonal shifts, making every visit a unique experience worth capturing."

"The beach is amazing , it has big parking, the atmosphere is really wonderful , the food and shopping boulevard has a great variety, however in the stores they give you a price and then they charge you $4 or $5 more, they don't give you a receipt. there is an amusement park with many attractions. The fireworks were great on the 4th of July."
